ClipSave

The only content ClipSave works with is the clipboard text you explicitly choose to save (your "clips"). It does not read your clipboard in the background, and it does not scan, log, or transmit your browsing activity, page content, or personal information.

ClipSave has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for your name, email, or any other identifying details in order to use the extension.

ClipSave requests only the permissions it needs to function as a clipboard manager. Each one is used for the single purpose described below:

• clipboardRead

  Reads clipboard content only when you choose to save a clip, so ClipSave can store it for you.

• clipboardWrite

  Writes a saved clip back to your clipboard when you copy it from ClipSave.

• activeTab

  Lets ClipSave interact with the tab you're currently using, only when you trigger it.

• storage

  Saves your clips locally in your browser so they're there the next time you open ClipSave.

All of your clips are stored locally in your own browser, using the browser's built-in extension storage. Your data never leaves your device.

We do not run any servers that receive your clips, and there is no cloud database, backup, or sync to our systems. Because everything stays on your machine, only you can access what you've saved.

• We do not collect or store your personal data.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
• We do not send your clips to any external server or third party.

You are always in control of your clips. You can delete individual clips or clear all of them at any time from within the extension.

Uninstalling ClipSave removes its locally stored data from your browser. Since nothing is stored anywhere else, removing the extension removes your clips.

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ClipSave after an update means you accept the revised policy.
